Protein Cacao Puffs

Serves 12

 

Calories per serve 90

Protein 3.5g

Carbohydrates 6.5g

Fats 5.3g

 

Ingredients

 

25g puffed rice

1 scoop (30g) True WPI 90 Rich Chocolate

30g melted nuttelex

20g honey

30g natural peanut butter

2 tsp cacao powder

4 squares dark chocolate (melted)

1 Tbsp coconut oil (melted)

 

Method

 

  1. Place nuttelex, honey and peanut butter into a small saucepan over a low heat and stir until melted, then remove from heat.

  2. Add mixture into a large bowl with puffed rice and protein powder and stir until combined.

  3. Firmly press the mixture into a muffin tray (I used a mini 12 cup silicon muffin tray).

  4. Melt the dark chocolate and coconut oil together, the evenly distribute on top of each serving.

  5. Place in the fridge overnight to set, then enjoy!
