Creatine Mono
Pure micronised Creatine Monohydrate

Is this still Creapure / Is it still made in Germany?

Creatine Mono and Creapure are, chemically, the same thing: pure creatine monohydrate, the most researched form of creatine in sports nutrition. Creatine Mono is a pure, micronised creatine monohydrate produced in Inner Mongolia, independently lab-tested at 99.9% purity. Creapure (the German-made, HASTA-certified creatine we've offered for years) is still available as our performance creatine. The difference is where it's made and how it's certified, not the ingredient itself.

What’s the difference between Creatine Monohydrate and Creapure?

They’re the same active ingredient: pure creatine monohydrate. Creapure is made in Germany by AlzChem and is HASTA batch-certified against the WADA banned-substances list, which makes it the right pick if you’re a tested athlete or simply prefer that extra assurance. Creatine Monohydrate is our everyday option: the same molecule, independently verified at 99.9% purity, at a more accessible price. Most people are well served by Creatine Monohydrate. Choose Creapure if you need certification or prefer the familiar gold-standard brand.

How much should I take?

One 3g serve a day is all you need. With creatine, consistency matters more than a big dose, taking a steady serve each day is how your body reaches and maintains its stores over time. There’s no need to take more than the recommended serve.

Do I need to ‘load’ creatine?

Creatine works best when you take it consistently. A daily serve of 3g is all you need, there's no need to build up or cycle off. Some people use a higher-dose 'loading' phase in the first week (around 0.3g per kilogram of bodyweight), which saturates your muscles faster, but it isn't necessary. A steady daily serve gets you to the same place, just a little more gradually. Creatine can be taken pre-workout, post-workout, or on rest days, whatever fits your routine.

When’s the best time to take it?

Any time that helps you remember. Creatine works through consistent daily use rather than precise timing, so the best time is the one you’ll actually stick to: with breakfast, in your morning coffee, or around your training. Pick a moment in your day and make it a habit.

Why doesn’t it fully dissolve?

Creatine monohydrate isn’t fully water-soluble, so a little sediment at the bottom of your glass or shaker is completely normal and doesn’t affect quality or how it works. Ours is micronised, which helps it blend more easily for the smoothest mix, stir or shake it into warm water or your favourite drink and have it soon after mixing.

How long does a bag last?

Each 210g bag contains 70 daily serves. That's around ten weeks at one 3g serve a day, or roughly 54c a serve. It’s sized to make a daily creatine habit easy and affordable.

Is creatine safe?

Creatine is one of the most extensively researched supplements in the world, with a long record of safe use in healthy adults. As with any supplement, if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, or take medication, we recommend checking with your healthcare professional before starting.

Is it safe to take long term? Should I cycle off?

Creatine has a strong long-term safety record in healthy adults, and there’s no need to ‘cycle off’. Because it works through consistent daily use, there’s nothing to gain from stopping and starting. The simplest approach is to keep it as part of your daily routine. If you have specific health concerns, your healthcare professional is the best person to advise you.

Is it HASTA-certified or batch-tested for competition?

If you’re a tested athlete or you need certified assurance, choose Creapure. It’s HASTA batch-certified against the WADA banned-substances list, so you can use it with confidence in a competition setting. Our standard Creatine Monohydrate is independently lab-verified for purity (99.9%) but isn’t HASTA-certified, so for anti-doping purposes we recommend Creapure.
