Jaffa Bites

Makes 16 

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Cooking time: 1 hour

Calories per serve: 100

Protein: 6g

Carbohydrates: 12g

Fat: 4g

 

Ingredients

100g rolled oats 

100g raw almonds 

150g (~10) medjool dates 

3 tbsp raw cacao powder 

60g (2 scoops) True Protein Vegan85 in Rich Chocolate 

Juice and zest of 1 orange 

 

Method

  1. Combine the rolled oats, almonds and dates in a high powered food processor. 

  2. Once well combined, add in the remaining ingredients and process until well combined. The mixture should hold together when pinched. If it is still a little dry, add in 1 tbsp of water. 

  3. Press into a lined 20x20cm brownie tin and refrigerate for about an hour to set slightly prior to slicing into 16 squares. 

  4. Store in the fridge and enjoy!
