How to Make Choc Coconut Protein Balls

  • Ingredients

    • 10 medjool dates, pitted
    • 1 cup toasted coconut flakes
    • ¼ cup roasted almonds
    • 3 tbsps True Plant Protein in Rich Chocolate
    • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
    • 2 tsp maple syrup
    • ¼ tsp salt
    • ¼ cup shredded or desiccated coconut, for rolling
  • Instructions

    1. Place the dates, toasted coconut flakes, roasted almonds, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, maple syrup and salt into a food processor. Blend until well combined and the mixture holds together when rolled between your hands. Avoid over-blending, as you want to keep some of the texture from the almonds and coconut.
    2.  Roll the mixture into 10-12 balls, then coat each ball in the coconut.
    3. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
