I’m a dual para-sport athlete in Athletics (100m/200m) and Track Cycling (1000m time trial). Before a motorbike accident in 2014 that left me with left peroneal nerve palsy (drop foot), I was a dedicated CrossFit athlete.
Since transitioning into para-sport, I’ve won three bronze medals (2022, 2023, 2024) and one silver medal (2023) at the Track Cycling World Championships. I also hold Australian All Comers and National Records in the 100m and 200m (T44 category) in Athletics, as well as the MC5 1000m Time Trial in Cycling.
CrossFit remains my first love, it’s still a huge part of my training and continues to drive my performance in both sports.

What motivates me
This changes a lot for me depending on the time of year. Broadly speaking I’m always trying to put the best version of myself forward whether its Athletics, CrossFit, or Track Cycling. I guess put simply when I compete I want to leave the competition floor, content with the effort and being proud of the work I did to get there.

My proudest achievement
Proudest achievement to date is after being told I would never run, jump, squat or skip again. I hold national records in sports that required all those movements and often have to tell people what my disability is. It just goes to show that no matter the obstacle, with enough hard work you can still be great.

BE YOU: At the end of the day regardless of the result all you really take away is the work/journey to get there and if its your path and your journey you can always be happy with the outcome. Don’t let anyone else Captain your ship.
