Ingredients
4 slices thick-cut wholemeal sourdough
¾ cup soy milk
2 tbsp True Plant Protein in Banana Bread
½ tsp vanilla essence
1 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp butter
To serve:
2 cups fresh berries (could also use banana)
Maple syrup
Icing sugar
Method
1. In a shallow dish, whisk together the soy milk, protein powder, vanilla essence, maple syrup and cinnamon until smooth.
2. Dip each slice of sourdough into the mixture, ensuring both sides are coated.
3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add the butter.
4. Cook the bread slices for 2–3 minutes on each side until golden.
5. Serve with the fresh berries, an extra drizzle of maple syrup, and a dusting of icing sugar.
