What makes True All Natural Protein Shake different from others on the market?

Many ready-to-drink shakes on the market are made with powder and water, artificial ingredients, or poor-quality dairy.

What is ultrafiltered milk and why is it better?

Ultra-filtration uses fine membranes to naturally boost the protein, remove lactose, and concentrate nutrients from grass-fed milk, resulting in a high-quality protein source without additives.

Can I drink it if I’m sensitive to dairy?

Many people with lactose sensitivity can enjoy our shake because it’s lactose-free. If you have a full dairy allergy, it’s not suitable.

Why don’t you use carrageenan?

Carrageenan is a controversial thickening agent linked to digestive discomfort. We prefer to keep things clean with no carrageenan and no artificial additives.

Is this shake shelf-stable?

Yes, it’s shelf-stable thanks to ultra-filtration and heat treatment, and can be stored unrefrigerated until opened.

Where is the milk sourced from?

Our dairy protein comes from grass-fed New Zealand milk, known for its purity, quality and naturally clean taste.

Is the dairy 100% grass fed?

Grass-fed means cows mainly grazing on grass and crops in paddocks where they roam. New Zealand “grass-fed” standards requires that the below minimum requirements must be met or exceeded:

Cows must have a diet which constitutes, on a 3-year rolling average, at least 90% (fresh weight) qualifying grass-fed feed types.

Cows must on average graze pasture or forage crops at least 340-days per year for at least 8-hours per day.
Our New Zealand farmers’ cows are on average 96% grass-fed and spend on average over 350 days a year on pasture, which is above the New Zealand Grass-Fed Standard’s requirements. 96% is an average measured over recent seasonal data, calculated on an ‘as consumed’ basis.
