Chocolate Peanut Butter Donuts

Serves 16

Prep time: 10 minutes

Baking time: 12-15 minutes

7g Protein
14g Carbs
12g Fat

Ingredients

1/2 cup buckwheat flour
1/2 cup almond flour
1 serving (30g) True Plant Protein in Rich Chocolate
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup almond milk
1 egg (if vegan substitute for flax egg)
2 large ripe bananas
1/4 cup honey / maple syrup
1/2 cup peanut butter


Chocolate Glaze
100g dark chocolate
1/4 cup peanut butter
1 Tbsp coconut oil


Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celcius and prepare a donut tray

  2. Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend till smooth

  3. Evenly spread mixture into donut tray (about 3/4 full - makes 16)

  4. Bake for 12-15 mins or until slightly golden

  5. Allow to cool for 10 mins and remove from tray

  6. Melt chocolate and prepare peanut drizzle by melting the coconut oil and combining it with the peanut butter, mix until a runny consistency forms

  7. Dip one side of the doughnut in chocolate and drizzle across peanut butter sauce

  8. Leave to set for 10-15 minutes and enjoy
