Ingredients
2 cups Medjool dates, pitted
¾ cup almond meal
½ cup cacao
1/3 cup natural almond butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp salt
1 TP scoop True Plant Protein in Rich Chocolate
200g vegan dark chocolate
1 tsp coconut oil
Method

Place the dates in a blender and mix until it forms a smooth paste

Add in the almond butter, cacao powder, almond meal, protein powder, vanilla, and salt, then mix until everything is completely combined

Roll the mixture into balls and place on a baking tray then put the tray into the freezer for 30 minutes

In the meantime, melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a saucepan, stirring constantly to ensure that the mixture does not burn

Allow the chocolate to slightly cool then roll each ball into the chocolate ensuring to completely coat them. Once you have coated all the balls, place them on a tray and into a freezer for 10 minutes

Now that the balls are firm you can either store them in a container or leave in the fridge
