Banana Cake

2 tsp extra virgin olive oil 

3 medium ripe bananas, mashed 

2 carrots, grated 

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder 

3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil

¼ cup maple syrup 

½ cup brown sugar 

3 large eggs, whisked 

2 teaspoons cinnamon 

30g (1 scoop) True Plant Protein in Natural

¼ cup walnuts, roughly chopped 



  1. Preheat the oven to 275°F. Grease a medium sized metal pan using 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil and some paper towel. 

  2. In a large bowl, peal and mash the bananas. Then add the grated carrots, flour, baking powder, extra virgin olive oil., maple syrup, brown sugar, 3 eggs, cinnamon, protein powder and walnuts. 

  3. Stir all ingredients until well combined.

  4. Pour cake mixture into prepared pan and bake in oven for 60-75 minutes. You can test to see if the cake is ready by inserting a toothpick to the centre of the cake, if it comes out clean, its ready!
