Mexican Black Bean Beef Burgers

Serves 4

2 tsp True Protein Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
15g minced garlic
1 can of black beans, drained and rinsed
2 tsp Mexican spice
500g beef mince
1 egg
1 scoop True Protein Instant Oats
2 Tbsp tomato paste


  1. Heat fry pan to medium heat and add 1 tsp of coconut oil. Then add the garlic, black beans, Mexican spice and fry for 10 minutes

  2. Meanwhile add the beef, egg, instant oats and tomato paste into a large bowl and mix together with your hands

  3. Take the beans off the stove and mash half with a fork

  4. Add mashed beans into the mixture then stir through remaining beans

  5. Form mixture into 4 even sized patties and cook them in a frying pan with 1 tsp of coconut oil, pressing them flat

Choc Strawberry Smoothie Bowl

100g frozen strawberries
60g frozen banana
1 tsp True Protein Cacao Powder
1 scoop True Protein Vegan 85 Rich Chocolate
20g True Protein Natural Peanut Butter, for topping
10g honey, for topping
10g pepitas, for topping
5g flax seeds, for topping


  1. Blend all ingredients together

  2. Pour the smoothie into a bowl and garnish with toppings
