Achieve Your Goal

Muscle Gain & Performance

Ensuring your body receives a regular supply of protein is essential for supporting lean muscle growth. Protein consists of amino acids which are the building blocks of muscle and allow us to build, repair and maintain muscle tissue.

Building muscle mass essentially involves the process of lifting heavier weights, tearing the muscle fibres and then rebuilding them stronger and bigger and this is where regular protein intake comes in. Current research indicates roughly 2.2g of protein per kg of body weight is required for building muscle. For an 80kg male this equates to 176g/day which equates to roughly 30g-40g per meal spread over 5 meals.

Protein can be attained from a wide range of wholefood sources such as fish, chicken, and beef as well as non-animal sources such as quinoa, green peas and nuts. Protein can also be attained in supplement form, most commonly in powders such as whey protein powder, pea protein powder or rice protein powder. These powders allow for a convenient way to add additional protein calories into your daily diet and assist with muscle building needs.

  • Faster Recovery
  • Energy Boost
  • Muscle Growth

Weight Loss & Toning

The lowest calorie way to consume protein is in a protein shake. Products such as Whey Protein Isolate have extremely low levels of carbs and fats, meaning the calories you consume are virtually pure protein. If you’re looking to minimise your caloric intake and burn any excess fat, a high protein diet is a must. Not only will a high protein diet ensure your body draws its energy from excess fat stores, it’ll also make sure you don’t feel hungry and crave unplanned cheat meals.

Nevertheless, we wouldn’t advise you rely on protein powder as your only source of protein. Rather it should be used to supplement a well-rounded diet.

Smooth

Perfect! Rating: 5 out of 5

For someone who is intolerant to dairy and stevia.... it has been extremely hard to find a protein powder I can use. I was very happy to have found PEA85 it tastes amazing in smoothies considering how natural it is! I feel amazing during workouts if I have it beforehand and just as good if I have it after as I am very prone to bloating but I have no troubles with this product!

AMAZING!!! Rating: 5 out of 5

The Good: amazing taste, has a great texture for mixing in with recipes (like pankcakes or porridge), mixes well with milk and water, not powdery like some proteins, bang for your buck in terms of cost vs protein amounts, protein per calories ratio is one of the best on the market. The Not so Great: when mixing can become glue like, so just have to mix really well, but that texture is good for binding recipes like protein balls. the packaging could be improved. My zip lock doesn't work and I had to move the contents to another container.

Choc gold Rating: 5 out of 5

I cannot go past the choc pre protein! I have it everyday and love it, mixes well and doesn't have the gritty taste like many plant based proteins as well as having a nice sweetness to it

AMAZING!! Rating: 5 out of 5

I've tried so many different vegan proteins and this is by far the best, would recommend to anyone! Absolutely amazing

Great product! Rating: 5 out of 5

I purchased this after trying a few other vegan products out there and not liking them. This is delicious in smoothies and doesn't have the gritty feeling like other vegan proteins. I will continue to buy this.

Pea Protein Rating: 5 out of 5

Basic, clean, high quality product that tastes amazing compared to any other pea protein on the market. 200%

Low irritant Rating: 5 out of 5

I have tried many different lactose free and dairy free proteins but have not been able to find one that doesn't affect my stomach and cause pain or isn't a gritty texture that doesn't blend. The chocolate flavoured pea protein from true protein is perfect for me. I can have it with no issue and blends reasonably well, nice chocolaty flavour without being too sweet and love how it's naturally sweetened. I'm definitely getting again!

Suggested Use

Add 1 Large TP Scoop (30g) to 150ml-200ml of liquid of your choice. Shake and consume. Consume 1-3 servings daily or as required.

True Protein recommends as a guideline 1.5 to 2 grams of protein per kilogram of bodyweight. This recommendation is based on the assumption that your goals are to build lean muscle and enhance recovery. This translates to an 80kg person taking roughly 120g to 160g of protein per day. We recommend that you fulfill this quota through a combination of wholefoods and protein supplementation.
