Achieve Your Goal

Muscle Gain & Performance

Ensuring your body receives a regular supply of protein is essential for supporting lean muscle growth. Protein consists of amino acids which are the building blocks of muscle and allow us to build, repair and maintain muscle tissue.

Building muscle mass essentially involves the process of lifting heavier weights, tearing the muscle fibres and then rebuilding them stronger and bigger and this is where regular protein intake comes in. Current research indicates roughly 2.2g of protein per kg of body weight is required for building muscle. For an 80kg male this equates to 176g/day which equates to roughly 30g-40g per meal spread over 5 meals.

Protein can be attained from a wide range of wholefood sources such as fish, chicken, and beef as well as non-animal sources such as quinoa, green peas and nuts. Protein can also be attained in supplement form, most commonly in powders such as whey protein powder, pea protein powder or rice protein powder. These powders allow for a convenient way to add additional protein calories into your daily diet and assist with muscle building needs.

  • Faster Recovery
  • Energy Boost
  • Muscle Growth

Weight Loss & Toning

The lowest calorie way to consume protein is in a protein shake. Products such as Whey Protein Isolate have extremely low levels of carbs and fats, meaning the calories you consume are virtually pure protein. If you’re looking to minimise your caloric intake and burn any excess fat, a high protein diet is a must. Not only will a high protein diet ensure your body draws its energy from excess fat stores, it’ll also make sure you don’t feel hungry and crave unplanned cheat meals.

Nevertheless, we wouldn’t advise you rely on protein powder as your only source of protein. Rather it should be used to supplement a well-rounded diet.

Finally a yummy brown rice protein Rating: 5 out of 5

I have been looking for a brown rice protein as I'm intolerant to pea protein. There are very few on the market, especially ones that taste delicious! I love all of the true protein products and have used the range for years now.

Tastes Great Rating: 4 out of 5

Bought the Chocolate flavour and love it. It is a bit thicker than your normal whey protein but love that it's dairy free.

Hubby loves it! Rating: 5 out of 5

My hubby is loving his Brown Rice Protein powder and uses it in smoothies, post workout and even mixes it in with yoghurt to create a high protein dessert. He says it tastes really nice and nourishing compared to other rice protein powders he's used in the past. I'm not a big fan of rice protein but actually don't mind it either :)

Natural Brown Rice Protein Rating: 4 out of 5

Trying to steer my regime towards vegetarian, I decided to try both the natural brown rice protein and the chocolate pea protein powder. To be honest, I can not drink this one on its own, the flavour is really not my thing. It makes a beautiful shake and it is very filling, which is great, because I don't snack in between meals. For this protein powder though, I have to add chocolate powder, in order to drink on its own. However, I tried this with a banana, blueberries and almond milk and it is beautiful. So my verdict is: great for smoothies and in other combinations, but personally, I don't like this one in a mix with water only. I will buy again, because it is organic, healthy and makes nice thick banana smoothies!

Brown Rice Protein Review Rating: 4 out of 5

A solid product overall. Cost for the amount of servings in the packet is great plus a great amount of protein per serving. Would normally add this to smoothies and sometimes it can change the taste a little but it's something i got used to. Would definitely recommend this product!

Impressed! Rating: 5 out of 5

I was using whey protein which my body wasn't loving, I tried pea which was good but then I tried this rice protein and it's certainly the happiest my body has felt on a protein supplement. Thanks for providing this perfect option for me.

Great product! Mixes well & the taste for a natural product is good. Great for a morning smoothie on the go or even post workout. Even a non vegan like myself enjoys it!

Suggested Use

Add 1 Large TP Scoop (30g) to 150ml-200ml of liquid of your choice. Shake and consume. Consume 1-3 servings daily or as required.

True Protein recommends as a guideline 1.5 to 2 grams of protein per kilogram of bodyweight. This recommendation is based on the assumption that your goals are to build lean muscle and enhance recovery. This translates to an 80kg person taking roughly 120g to 160g of protein per day. We recommend that you fulfil this quota through a combination of whole foods and protein supplementation.
