True Protein, a leading Australian health and fitness brand, is on the lookout for a motivated and detail-oriented Content Assistant to join our dynamic Content team. In this role, you will be focusing on the logistical, creative, and organisational tasks necessary to plan and execute photoshoots. This type of position would be ideal for someone interested in both content creation, photography and videography production, ensuring that photoshoots run smoothly and meet brand or campaign goals. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for content, digital media, and marketing to develop their skills in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. 

Your role will include but is not limited to:

Photoshoot Planning & Coordination: 

  • Assist in the planning and scheduling of photoshoots, ensuring that all logistics are handled smoothly. 
  • Coordinate with internal teams, photographers, and models to confirm availability, shoot locations, and other necessary details. 
  • Help prepare shot lists and mood boards based on creative briefs and project goals. 

Studio Organisation & Maintenance: 

  • Manage the day-to-day organisation of the photoshoot studio, ensuring that it is clean, clutter-free, and set up for efficient use. 
  • Ensure all equipment (cameras, lights, props, etc.) is stored properly and easily accessible for shoots. 
  • Organise props, backdrops, wardrobe, and other materials for quick retrieval during shoots. 
  • Maintain an inventory of studio supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is well-maintained, operational, and ready for use. 

Styling & Set Design Assistance: 

  • Help with styling the set or location, ensuring that all elements (props, products, models, etc.) align with the concept and vision. 
  • Assist with wardrobe coordination, ensuring clothing and accessories are available and ready for use. 
  • Be present on set to support photographers, videographers, talent and athletes providing organisational help and managing logistics during the shoot. 

Additional Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure all digital assets are properly organised, logged, and transferred to the appropriate locations for post-production. 
  • Build and maintain strong connections with UGC creators, ensuring they are aligned with the brand’s tone and goals. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Photography, Art Direction, Media Production, or a related field. 
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask effectively. 
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proficient with photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop) is a plus, though not required. 
  • Basic knowledge of photography equipment (cameras, lighting, lenses, etc.) and/or interest in learning more about it. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Creative and proactive, with a keen eye for detail.
