Bree Masters


Bree Masters is an Australian Track and Beach Sprinter from the Gold Coast. Originally from Sydney, Bree moved to Queensland in 2013 to pursue her sport professionally. Over the years, Bree has taken the Surf Life Saving world by storm, becoming a multiple time beach sprint and flag medalist at State, Australian and World Championship levels.

Bree switched lanes in 2019, and crossed her focus to track and field, competing in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay events. With only under two years in the sport, Bree has achieved a 2nd place in the 100m at the 2021 Australian Track and Field Titles, holds a personal best time of 11.47 seconds (100m) and 23.35 seconds (200m), and was apart of the women’s 4x100m relay team who achieved the fastest 4x100m relay run on Australian soil, and second fastest Australian team in history, with a time of 43.11 seconds.

After narrowly missing out on the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games by 0.06 of a second in the women’s 4x100m relay, Bree hopes to represent Australia in the upcoming 2022 Commonwealth Games, 2022 World Athletics Championships, and ultimately to compete on the world state in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

How often do you train?

I train 5 days a week. Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays consist of track sessions, Tuesdays are gym and pilates, and Thursdays are gym.

Do you have a favourite quote you train by?

Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard & never measure your progress using somebody else’s ruler. Always continue to be a better you.

What are your most used True supplements and how do you use them?

My most used supplements are the Hydrolysed Collagen protein, WPI90, Vegan85, and electrolytes. I love the Collagen and WPI90 protein powder for post training session shakes and smoothies. I usually add a scoop with water for post training sessions, or a scoop to my favourite smoothie as a snack. I particularly love the Collagen protein powder for its extra health benefits for my hair, skin and nails. I use the Vegan85 protein powder in my oats every morning to add that extra protein content to my breakfast. I love the consistency of this Vegan protein and it mixes so well into my oats. Living on the Gold Coast, my training environment is hot, therefore the True electrolytes are the perfect addition to my session to keep me well hydrated pre, during and post session.
