zucchini oatmeal

Start your day off the right way by getting in your greens early! This is also an awesome recovery workout yields anti inflammatory and muscle growth and repair benefits. This brilliant breakfast comes from @melonrouge.


Base Ingredients

Makes 1

50g oats

15g chia seeds

100g grated zucchini

2 cups water (or you can use any plant milk such as almond, soy, coconut)


Version 1 – Golden

1 tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp all spice powder

30g French Vanilla True Protein VEGAN85


Version 2 – Ginger Chocolate 

1 tsp ginger powder

1 tsp maca powder

30g Rich Chocolate True Protein VEGAN85



1. Put all of the base ingredients into a pot and bring to a boil.

2. Reduce the heat to low-med and stir in the add-ins for golden or ginger-choc oats.

3. Mix and simmer until the mixture has reached the desired consistency. 

4. Transfer to a bowl and top it off with fruit and superfoods!
