Salted Caramel Banana Bread

Serves 10

3 medium ripe bananas
¼ cup melted coconut oil
¼ cup pure maple syrup
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 ¼ cups oat flour
1/2 cup coconut flour
3 scoops True Protein Collagen Salted Caramel
1 tsp baking powder
1 Tbsp True Protein Maca Powder
¼ teaspoon salt
Hemp seeds for garnish
Crumbled salted caramel protein ball or bar for garnish. We suggest True Protein Bar in Salted Caramel

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and line a loaf tin with baking paper. Set aside

  2. Peel bananas and add to a large mixing bowl. Mash bananas using a fork and then add in the remixing ingredients and mix until combined

  3. Pour batter evenly into the prepared loaf tin. Optional: lightly sprinkle with hemp seeds and salted caramel protein ball

  4. Bake for 65-80 minutes. Test with a toothpick into the centre of the loaf. If it’s done it should come out clean.

  5. Cool on a cooling rack before serving or storing
