This easy high-energy snack recipe by Jamie Humby lasts for weeks in the fridge to keep your power supplies full.
1 scoop True Protein Oats & Whey
4 scoops True Protein Cacao Powder
8 whole, pitted Medjool dates, roughly chopped
1 cup cashews
1 cup walnuts
1 cup pistachios
1/2 cup currants
1/2 cup pine nuts
1 tbsp lupin flakes
1 tbsp flax seeds
1/3 cup water
1/2 cup hemp seeds
1. In a large food processor bowl, add all ingredients except the hemp seeds and blitz until well combined, adding water until the mixture sticks together but is not watery or too wet.
2. Working with wet hands, scoop 1 heaped tbsp worth of mixture and roll into a perfect little ball. Place on a tray lined with baking paper and hemp seeds. Repeat until all of the mixture is used up.
3. Roll the balls in the hemp seeds until well covered, then store in an airtight container in the fridge. These will keep for weeks and are a great source of clean fuel.
