ABC Butter Rice Crispy Treaties

Makes 18

Ingredients

½ cup True Protein Natural ABC Butter
½ cup honey
1 tsp vanilla essence
3-4 cups organic rice bubbles
1/3 cups coconut oil
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp True Protein Organic Cacao Powder
1 pinch of pink salt

Method

  1. Melt ABC butter and honey together, add salt and vanilla and combine in a saucepan on low heat

  2. Remove saucepan from heat and stir in organic rice bubbles until combined. You should see a sticky consistency forming in the mixture. If the mixture is too wet add in more organic rice bubbles

  3. Press the mixture into a lined baking tin and leave in the fridge to set

  4. Combine coconut oil, maple syrup and cacao powder in a bowl and mix until a liquid forms

  5. Add the cacao mixture to the top of the base setting in the fridge and continue refrigerating until fully set

  6. Slice into pieces and store in the fridge
