Alex grew up playing a wide range of sports, but from the ages of 19-26 rose up into professional Rugby League with the Penrith Panthers, St George Illawarra Dragons and South Sydney Rabbitohs. Retiring in 2012 due to injuries he found his new passion in CrossFit®, making 3 Regionals appearances in 2013, 2014 and 2015 as the largest athlete ever to compete at this level. He is big on personal growth through health and fitness and inspiring positive change to others, always seeking to be the best he can be every day.
How often do you train?
4-5 times a week for 1.5-2hrs. Mobility at the start of every session. Quality is key!
How do you use your supplements?
WPI90 (coconut is amazing!), Cluster Dextrin, Coconut Powder and Glutamine all post workout, every session. BCAA's and Creatine in and around training. Matcha Green Tea and MCT oil for energy throughout the day and ZMA at night time for the best night sleep and recovery ever! Oh and a cheeky mug cake here and there, that stuff is the best!
